Job Title: Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician II

At Pearce Services, we're committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients. As a Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our wind turbine projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, adhering to company policies and insurance requirements.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools.
  • Utilize various torque and tension tools to perform daily work requirements.
Requirements:
  • Two years of experience in wind maintenance is required.
  • GWO Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
  • Meet customer and company standards, including following project schedules.
Physical/Work Environment:

At Pearce Services, safety is our top priority. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA/DOT Standards.

  • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
  • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
  • Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
