About the Role

Vestas is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our team in Rush Creek, Colorado. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis, and troubleshooting on wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including scheduled service and fault analysis
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
  • Collaborate with a team of 2-3 technicians to complete tasks and achieve goals
  • Identify solutions to issues using process of elimination
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of wind experience or 2-3 years of experience in an applicable background, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Safety-focused mindset and ability to identify potential hazards
