About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Pipe Stress Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing pipe stress analysis and design for power piping and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pipe stress analysis and design for power piping and industrial systems
  • Model piping systems using stress software to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads
  • Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients
Requirements
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar degree from an ABET accredited college
  • Five (5) years or more working as an engineer performing stress analysis is preferred
  • PE license preferred
  • Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, supportive team player, and good verbal communication
  • Experience reading and understanding flow diagrams and P&IDs
  • Experience writing pipe stress reports required
