Electrical Design Engineer

At PACCAR, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and releasing electrical wiring and electronic components and systems for heavy commercial trucks.
You will integrate various electrical subsystems into vehicle electrical systems, complete engineering change notice documentation to manage old and new parts, and use proprietary software to issue part bid requests. Additionally, you will manage engineering and project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality, plan and track validation of components, and support launch at truck assembly plants as needed.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other professionals to ensure quality heavy-duty truck electrical designs. You will also investigate and resolve warranty issues for powertrain electrical-related claims.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer who can work in a fast-paced, lean, collaborative team environment. You should have a BSEE or equivalent degree, and a strong understanding of electrical systems, including software, wire harnesses, electronic controls, switches, driver input devices, and HMI. Proficiency in Engineering tools such as Siemens Capital, Creo, and Windchill is also required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,100 - $112,300 annually, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k with 100% company match, and a company-paid pension plan after 5 years. We also offer tuition reimbursement for continued education, and a holiday gift.
