Overview

Yondr is a leading provider of phone-free spaces for artists, educators, and organizations. As an Account Executive in our Education Sales team, you will play a crucial role in generating new opportunities with individual schools and districts.

About the Role

This position requires a strong sales professional to develop and nurture relationships with educational institutions through a combination of outreach, in-person visits, phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings. You will meet and exceed sales targets by maintaining a reliable sales pipeline, responding to leads, and fostering growth within the region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with educational institutions through proactive outreach and communication.
  • Meet & exceed sales targets by generating and maintaining a reliable sales pipeline.
  • Respond to educational organizations' Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and drive lead generation through independent research efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Prepare & deliver compelling presentations to school boards, administrators, and other decision-makers to effectively communicate our product's value proposition.
  • Represent Yondr at regional and national education conferences, trade shows, and events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing quotes with prospective partners.
  • Work closely with the Implementation team and Account Lead to ensure successful hand-off and partner onboarding.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience selling.
  • Background and/or experience in educational sales, specifically K-12.
  • Prior training focused on sales expansion via cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • A consultative, relationship-driven approach to sales.
  • Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in person.
  • Proficiency and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Extensive organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Incredible empathy and relationship-building skills to gain trust with clients and internal teams.
