Note: This position focuses on BUILDING STRUCTURES design, not software engineering or IT roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to our award-winning team dedicated to exceptional client service and team collaboration.
  • Depending on your expertise, you will independently manage and design projects related to building or industrial structures.
  • Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, design analyses, and construction cost estimates.
  • Engage in construction-related activities, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to information requests, conducting periodic site observations, and performing specialized structural inspections.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, facility managers, and project owners throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) - experience in construction is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, TMS, NDS standards.
  • Experience with Revit, RAM, and/or RISA is beneficial.
  • PE and/or SE registration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience is required; seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with various construction types, including steel, concrete, masonry, and mass timber, is a significant advantage.

This is a full-time position.

While we value flexibility, this role is not remote. We prioritize in-person collaboration within our team and are primarily hiring for our Lexington location, though other locations may be considered.
