Position Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Transportation Structural Engineer to join our team in Kentucky. This role will primarily involve structural engineering design for a variety of clients, specifically supporting transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural design for various highway, roadway, and bridge projects.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team, including Project Managers and Senior Engineers, to devise engineered solutions for our clients.
  • Utilize CAD software such as ORD and Civil 3D for design and drafting tasks.
  • Perform site visits to assess ongoing design projects.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in horizontal structural engineering is necessary.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations such as AASHTO, KYTC, MUTCD, and ADA is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are important.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative attitude and commitment to teamwork are crucial.
