Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with BK's esteemed team, known for exceptional client service and collaborative spirit.
  • Depending on your expertise, you will oversee and design projects related to building or industrial structures, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Generate design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, design assessments, and construction cost projections.
  • Provide construction-related services, including reviewing shop drawings, addressing information requests, conducting periodic site observations, and performing specialized structural inspections as needed.
  • Work alongside architects, designers, contractors, facility managers, and project owners throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Guide and support the growth of junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) - experience in construction is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, TMS, NDS standards.
  • Experience with Revit, RAM, and/or RISA is beneficial.
  • PE and/or SE licensure is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with various construction types, including steel, concrete, masonry, and mass timber is a significant advantage.

This is a full-time role.
