About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Operations Maintenance Tech II to join our Corporate Real Estate team at Target. As a key player in our non-retail portfolio management, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operations, and repairs of our headquarters properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, lighting systems, door hardware, restroom plumbing systems, life safety systems, and building management systems.
  • Respond to work order requests using our robust work order system and collaborate with team members on special projects as directed.
  • Develop and execute long-term, flexible real estate strategies for Target's global non-retail portfolio.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in the building maintenance field with a broad base of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Skilled in the operation of hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights of up to 25'.
  • Ability to learn PC skills, especially for programs associated with building management systems, life safety systems, and work order applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Special Low Pressure boiler's license where required.
