Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our team at Building Maintenance Management. As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Complete apartment community work orders to ensure timely and efficient resolution of maintenance requests.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, appliances, electrical, doors, and walls to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Maintain pools and boilers on select properties to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees, demonstrating a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned to ensure compliance with safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Assist in providing a clean and safe environment for residents by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure safety standards are met by adhering to federal, state, city, and company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Must have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally, with occasional lifting of pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to the worksite.
  • Must have or obtain CPO certification within 1 year of hire date, with company-paid training available.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a boiler's license in the future, with company-paid training available.
