Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales representative to join our PORT Enterprise team at Bloomberg Intelligence. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for selling state-of-the-art enterprise-level portfolio and risk analytics solutions to the world's top institutional buyside firms.

About the Role

As a sales representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on how to achieve their investment objectives using our advanced portfolio modules. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers at top institutional investment firms
  • Increase client adoption and usage of our portfolio and risk analytics solutions
  • Cross-sell our suite of solutions to internal teams and upsell our desktop portfolio and risk analytics at the enterprise level
  • Provide detailed product feedback to internal business managers to improve our products
  • Lead internal and external training sessions and sales pitches
  • Travel extensively to meet with clients and prospects

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in or selling to the buy-side, or alternative experience in financial engineering/structuring
  • Equity and fixed income market experience and knowledge
  • Astute commercial mindset and ability to exceed sales metrics
  • Demonstrable ability to identify new prospects and build and maintain solid client relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Aptitude to excel in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment
  • Ability to creatively market our product to a vast demographic of potential clients
  • Self-starter and dedicated collaborator with strong multi-tasking skills
