Job Summary

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at OU Health Physicians Tulsa. As a key member of our front office team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments, either by telephone or in person, and ensure accurate and timely completion of patient forms.
  • Provide clerical assistance to support the smooth operation of our outpatient facility, including filing and organization of patient charts.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and primary care physicians for patients, and communicate with patients regarding their financial accounts.
  • Maintain the highest standard of patient confidentiality and work collaboratively with patients, co-workers, and other employees in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, and 12 months of experience in a customer service role.
  • Ability to work in a standard medical front office environment, including keyboarding and answering, with up to 20% mobility required.
