Patient Services Representative

Job Summary
The University of Oklahoma is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at OU Health Physicians Tulsa. As a key member of our front office team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our clinics.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments, either by telephone or in person, and ensure accurate and timely completion of patient forms.
- Provide clerical assistance to support the smooth operation of our outpatient facility, including filing and organization of patient charts.
- Verify insurance eligibility and primary care physicians for patients, and communicate with patients regarding their financial accounts.
- Maintain the highest standard of patient confidentiality and work collaboratively with patients, co-workers, and other employees in a professional manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, and 12 months of experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to work in a standard medical front office environment, including keyboarding and answering, with up to 20% mobility required.
