Job Summary:
Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radio Frequency (RF) Systems Engineer to support our work at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD). The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing existing R&D projects and investigating novel solutions related to the application of RF energy to electronic warfare, countermeasures, and directed energy for the U.S. Navy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and model RF transmitters, receivers, and associated signal processing software or hardware.
- Perform RF measurements using measurement equipment and analyze results.
- Apply microwave devices, including RF countermeasure antenna measurements and analysis.
- Develop and implement RF countermeasure techniques and technologies, including RF decoys and active jamming technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance R&D projects and investigate new solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a physics or engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and/or modeling RF systems.
- DoD Secret Clearance within the past 24 months.
- Occasional travel required (1-2 times monthly).
Education:
- Bachelor's of Science in Engineering.
