We are looking for a part-time intern to support our collaborative team. The selected candidate will gain valuable professional experience in a research-oriented role, working closely with our staff. This position offers competitive hourly pay and may provide course credit for students.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in client projects by performing background research and evaluating written materials.

· Revise and enhance written documents for both internal and external purposes, including memos, analytical reports, press releases, and other communication materials.

· Monitor policy changes in the White House, Congress, and other relevant institutions by tracking media coverage, Congressional hearings, think tank events, and other public information sources. Compile reports from local media in key markets.

· Maintain contact databases, manage social media accounts, and carry out other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

· Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.

· 1 to 2 years of pertinent experience, including internships and volunteer roles.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

· Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative research, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

· Capacity to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly.

· Proven interest in international relations, emerging markets, international trade and development, democracy, and elections.

· Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), Dropbox, and Google Drive.

Preferred Qualifications

· Understanding of international affairs, particularly in areas such as technology, infrastructure, energy, entrepreneurship, peace and security, and elections.

· Familiarity with congressional and federal issues related to international development and business.

· International educational or work experience in sub-Saharan Africa is a plus.

· Foreign language skills (especially in French, Spanish, or Portuguese) are advantageous.
