Job Responsibilities:
The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in managing the front office and ensuring a professional representation of our practice. Key responsibilities include:
• Warmly greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
• Accurately entering and verifying patient demographic information in the electronic medical record system.
• Collecting and processing insurance information efficiently.
• Distributing and collecting patient forms, ensuring they are completed correctly.
• Managing co-payments and ensuring accurate financial transactions.
• Scheduling patient appointments according to established guidelines.
• Completing daily reminder calls and assisting with administrative tasks.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure effective patient care coordination.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding patient information.
