This full-time position at YUSA Corporation involves overseeing procurement processes and global sourcing strategies. The Purchasing Coordinator is expected to possess strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail to facilitate effective and economical purchasing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and senior management, addressing and resolving issues related to costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
DETAILED DUTIES:
  • Negotiate costs, lead times, and tooling arrangements with suppliers on behalf of YUSA.
  • Issue and monitor Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to the existing supplier network.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new vendors for materials or components, assessing product availability and sales terms.
  • Contribute to the formulation of specifications for products or alternative materials.
  • Assist in resolving supplier-related grievances and claims against YUSA.
  • Support the development and management of budgets for the purchasing department.
  • Review and analyze cost proposals and specifications for business awards.
  • Conduct onsite evaluations and audits of suppliers as necessary.
  • Oversee supplier development initiatives to ensure readiness.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports for senior management review and approval.
  • Promote and uphold the mission, values, and culture of YUSA in all interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Familiarity with purchasing processes, purchase orders, and procurement methodologies. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous.
