Registered Nurse - Cardiology
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Maryland
- Proficient knowledge and experience in cardiology
- Skills in triage and wound care management
- Ability to initiate authorizations for cardiac medications and procedures
- Experience in performing EKGs
- Strong patient education and interpersonal skills
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Familiarity with cardiology medications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct triage for patients both via phone and in-person
- Provide guidance to patients regarding medications and procedures
- Perform EKGs and assist with in-office cardiology procedures
- Maintain a high standard of care for all clients
- Communicate with physicians as necessary
- Identify and report abnormalities
- Observe and document patient behavior
- Develop treatment plans and operate medical equipment
- Administer medications and treatments
