Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology

Quadrant is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Cardiology team in Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train staff on pre-visit planning protocols and conduct telephone triage following a script.
  • Process prescriptions and refills, and handle various cardiology clinical procedures including EKG's, Echos, and Stress Tests.
  • Compile appointment notes and send to referring providers, track patients for value-based payments programs, and train medical assistants.
  • Ensure service levels are met for Cardiology and handle related tasks, manage patient schedules for Clinical Trials, and collaborate with management for improvement projects.
  • Determine action plans for cardiology patients, document phone calls in EMR, manage prescription refills, and review patient medical records for prescribed medication histories.
  • Contact patients to schedule appointments for refills, document and scan reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
