About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned civil engineering professional to lead and grow our thriving civil engineering team at Luxus. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project design, project management, client relationships, and business development while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in delivering exceptional results on land development projects, from design and permitting to construction document preparation.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Actively engage with the community to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with our corporate business development team to expand our reach.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control standards, overseeing every aspect of project design and documentation.
  • Guide and inspire your team, fostering their professional development and creating a pathway for career growth.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering land development, project management, and team leadership.
  • Strong background in site planning, grading design, construction document preparation, and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to motivate and empower a team, foster collaboration, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Business acumen and ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
