Civil Engineer Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our team at Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing projects to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage projects to create land development plans
  • Direct and review the design aspects of projects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials to impact the project from conceptual and design phases to construction and grand opening
  • Assemble and review construction drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Manage junior team members and provide guidance and support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 6+ years of engineering experience in site layout, grading and drainage, utility, and erosion control design
  • Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Tennessee or ability to obtain
  • CAD/C3D design experience
  • Proficient with drainage software, such as Hydraflow
  • Project management experience or a desire to take on project management duties
