Process Optimization Specialist

Quixote Studios is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Operations team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving process improvement across various areas of the studio, including Manufacturing, Production Supplies, Yard Operations, and others.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop relocation plans and strategies to optimize inventory storage and accessibility.
- Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to forecast inventory movement and storage requirements, and implement best practices for inventory management, including FIFO, JIT, and lean principles.
- Work closely with the purchasing team and monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities as needed, and provide training and support to staff members involved in inventory relocation processes.
- Continuously evaluate and refine inventory relocation strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with SolidWorks or CAD preferred.
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
- Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience in process engineering, with a focus on inventory management and logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Sylmar, CA (On-Site); travel to other Quixote and Sunset Studios Locations as needed.
Compensation:Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is between $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the Law, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
Quixote Studios reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
