Petroplan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Engineer to join their Integrated Production Excellence team in Louisiana. This role will be responsible for optimizing the availability and performance of the company's LNG liquefaction trains and supporting the overall production system optimization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Set daily production targets, define operating limits, and develop production plans in collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Build and maintain real-time surveillance and monitoring models to optimize LNG train availability and performance.
- Analyze data to detect deviations from operating envelope limits and identify actions to safely and reliably maximize LNG production.
- Identify short-, medium-, and long-term improvement initiatives to maximize LNG production using real-time system and physics-based models.
- Provide input to weekly and monthly production reviews and follow up on actions to improve performance.
- Lead or participate in EIRs and MoCs to improve LNG train performance.
- Support the development of Integrated Production Excellence standards and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Production Engineer with a proven track record of production performance improvement.
- Experience in pre-treatment and commissioning activities.
- Oil and Gas experience, preferably in LNG, with strong preference for hydrocarbon processing experience.
