About the Role

Keller is a leading geotechnical specialty design-build contractor in North America, with a strong presence in the United States and abroad. Our design engineers collaborate with other team members to develop innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions for challenging construction projects.

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. If you're passionate about finding creative solutions to complex problems, we offer an exciting opportunity to combine your engineering expertise with hands-on construction experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to the estimating department in bid preparation.
  • Prepare detailed design drawings for construction.
  • Offer engineering support to project managers during the construction process.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 to 15 years of geotechnical and/or geostructural engineering experience, preferably in ground improvement design.
  • Experience in geotechnical construction design-build projects is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good communication skills are essential.
  • The candidate must be a licensed professional engineer.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Mathcad, and AutoCAD is required, as well as a working knowledge of state-of-the-art software packages such as CT-Shoring, DeepEx, LPile, Settle 3D, Group, GeoStudio, and Plaxis.
