Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards and their application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of engineering and design, including independently performing a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques.
  • Produce designs that satisfy the requirements of building designs in accordance with applicable governing codes.
  • Exercise independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make minor design adaptations and modifications.
  • Work under minimal supervision and provide technical guidance to less experienced design and engineering personnel.
Requirements
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and typically 4-10 years related experience (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Considerable experience in utilizing various computer software packages such as Revit and other automated engineering and design equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Ability to walk job sites, including climbing stairs and navigating construction sites.
  • The majority of work is performed indoors with occasional site visits to projects.
  • Up to 20% travel by air and ground.
