Academic Faculty Position in General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health

The University of Minnesota, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor (Academic Track) faculty position in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health (DOGPAH). The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program that leads to publication and/or presentation in peer-reviewed scholarly outlets and to seek extramural funding for that research. Engagement in teaching/mentoring and service to the University and professional community are also expected. Clinical service opportunities are available for interested clinicians.

QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for this position include a doctoral degree in a health, mental/behavioral health, public health, social science, or related field, or an MD/DO with board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics, Medicine/Pediatrics, or Family Medicine and eligibility to be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
Preferred qualifications include post-doctoral or fellowship research training and experience in a health science field, as well as experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the academic, research, and/or health care communities.
