About the Role:
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota is in search of a dedicated pulmonology physician to spearhead the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program and assume the role of Director within the Pediatric Therapeutic Development Network.
This role encompasses clinical duties in pediatric pulmonology and cystic fibrosis, with a focus on the advancement and leadership of the pediatric cystic fibrosis initiative.
The selected candidate will be awarded the prestigious Marzatto Chair in Cystic Fibrosis Care.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- MD or DO degree, Board-certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Proven experience in managing patients with cystic fibrosis, including proficiency in standard procedures.
- Candidates should possess an active clinical or research program related to cystic fibrosis.
The cystic fibrosis program at the University of Minnesota is recognized for its multidisciplinary approach and has a longstanding history of exemplary outcomes.

The Department of Pediatrics is a prominent academic unit with over 100 full-time faculty members, consistently ranking among the top 10 nationally for NIH funding.
Care for children is provided at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, which opened in 2011.
