As a Case Manager at Volunteers of America Mid-States, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential case management services to families engaged in housing programs. Your primary objective will be to empower clients towards achieving self-sufficiency and preventing homelessness.

ROLE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

In the capacity of a Case Manager, you will be tasked with creating and overseeing service plans for families within housing programs, facilitating access to resources, and nurturing relationships. To excel in this position, a Bachelor's degree in social services, knowledge of crisis intervention, and strong communication skills are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Familiarity with community resources available for families experiencing homelessness.
  • Develop housing solutions for program participants.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with governmental agencies.
  • Assist families with housing applications and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports pertaining to housing objectives.
  • Engage in quality improvement activities and life skills training.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary.
