Restorative Justice Case Manager Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restorative Justice Case Manager Specialist to join our team at Housing Services - VOA Mid-States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing case management services to referred children and families from Jefferson County Public Schools, while implementing appropriate restorative justice practices.
Job Summary:The Restorative Justice Case Manager Specialist will maintain a case load of cases consistent with the project, restorative justice and case management processes, and contact schedule, in the catchment area. The successful candidate will compile, input, and track case management and restorative justice processes in an online case management system, facilitate restorative justice practice for assigned cases, complete assessments for referred individuals and families, and develop and monitor case plans.
Responsibilities:- Maintain a case load of cases consistent with the project, restorative justice and case management processes, and contact schedule, in the catchment area.
- Compile, input, and track case management and restorative justice processes in an online case management system.
- Facilitate restorative justice practice for assigned cases consistent with department and project requirements.
- Complete assessments for referred individuals and families.
- Develop and monitor case plans, with assigned individuals and families, consistent with department and project requirements.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for case management and restorative justice practices in the online case management system.
- Complete all required reports and documentation consistent with program standards and funding requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment of community volunteers.
- Represent VOA and VOA Justice in the community.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations to provide support services for conference participants.
- Seek and engage in personal and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in staff meetings and supervision meetings.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Assist and support all VOA Restorative Justice project sites, including case management and travel.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field, and up to three years of experience working with justice-involved and disenfranchised populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restorative justice practices and case management principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
