This is a full-time career opportunity with Powers Plumbing.

Powers Plumbing seeks qualified plumbing professionals to deliver exceptional service from our San Diego office. The technician will be responsible for on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.

The ideal candidate will possess experience, punctuality, and reliability, alongside excellent communication and customer service skills. A proven history of client satisfaction and a commitment to providing outstanding service are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support – Manage all service requests, performing repairs and maintenance on plumbing fixtures, equipment, and drainage systems. Troubleshoot issues and resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Equipment Management – Diagnose problems and provide guidance to customers regarding their plumbing systems. Document service calls and recommend equipment upgrades while overseeing inventory management.
  • Plumbing Duties – Capable of installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes for water, sewage, gas, and other liquids in both residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities include the installation and repair of sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances like dishwashers and garbage disposals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Journeyman certification preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workflow efficiently
  • Physical capability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Problem-solving abilities and mechanical skills
  • Proficiency with technology, including iPads and current software standards
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
