About the Position

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team. As a full-service equipment dealer, we provide cutting-edge equipment, world-class service, and an unsurpassed parts inventory to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting required Technical Service training and development programs for company and customer personnel. This includes:

  • Designing and delivering training programs to meet the needs of technicians and customer personnel.
  • Maintaining knowledge of instructional materials through attendance in manufacturer's Train-The-Trainer courses.
  • Conducting various training programs for customer personnel as necessary for high-level customers.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience preferably in the forklift, automotive, and/or heavy equipment industry.
  • Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to use various software and operating programs, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High School education or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills will be beneficial for success in this role:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Prior training experience.
  • Experience operating various construction and/or material-handling equipment.
