Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive primary care services tailored to individual patient needs.

  • Oversee and mentor healthcare staff to guarantee adherence to care protocols.
  • Support fellow healthcare providers and extended care teams in delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain availability for medical inquiries from staff and patients, including after-hours support.
  • Actively contribute to quality enhancement initiatives and multidisciplinary quality assurance efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with management to foster improvements in patient care delivery.
  • Participate in clinical outcome assessments and reviews.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
  • Provide general medical care and treatment under physician supervision, as permitted by state regulations.
  • Prepare and submit individualized healthcare plans for physician review and evaluation.
  • Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions, including physical therapy and inhalation therapy.
  • Facilitate referrals to physicians or specialized health services as necessary.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Board Certification is mandatory.
  • Current licensure to practice in the relevant state.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively promote clinic services.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong patient interaction abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Full range of motion is required, including the potential for patient handling and lifting.
  • Vision, hearing, and speech must be within normal ranges to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
