Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Administrative Assistant II to provide high-level administrative support for faculty in the Radiation Oncology department. This role will involve providing day-to-day administrative duties, including calendar management, credentialing, travel, and accounts payable.
Responsibilities- Provide moderately complex administrative skills for the department
- Prepare, maintain, and post records, reports, and budget information
- Prepare or direct the preparation of charts, graphs, and administrative, fiscal, personnel, and/or statistical reports
- Select office vendors and monitor purchasing processes
- Assist with overflow work from administrative and executive assistants and fill in for the office receptionist as needed
- Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities for members of the department
- Compose and process repetitive and non-repetitive documents in accordance with established procedures
- Organize office procedures to ensure effective operation
- Act as department liaison with other departments and agencies
- Process all personnel and purchasing transactions following institutional policies and procedures
- Determine work priorities and monitor progress toward work deadlines
- Ensure document retention processes are followed using established guidelines
- High school graduation or GED and four (4) years related work experience required
- May consider higher education completed in lieu of minimum requirements
- Preferred skills and experience include detail-oriented, organized, strong verbal and written communication, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
