Position Overview:
As an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, you will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency in New York, New York.

Your primary responsibility will be to convert intricate business workflows into automated systems utilizing Python and Tableau dashboards. This will support the generation of periodic reports for various audit committees.

You will also engage in the analysis of substantial datasets to ensure accurate reporting and governance of essential metrics associated with audit plan execution, remediation processes, and the maintenance of internal monitoring rationales.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize Python to automate complex business processes, facilitating the creation of daily, weekly, and quarterly metrics.
  2. Develop scripts to enhance operational efficiencies and minimize the risk of manual errors.
  3. Create SQL queries to track project transactions and findings, thereby streamlining manual processes.
  4. Establish and uphold weekly and quarterly project plans to monitor ongoing projects and business activities.
  5. Design real-time dashboards using Tableau to visualize key attributes and metrics regularly.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline with three (3) years of relevant experience, or
  • A Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline with five (5) years of relevant experience.
Additionally, candidates must have:
  • Three (3) years of experience with a Master's degree or five (5) years with a Bachelor's degree in transforming business processes into automated solutions using Python.
  • One (1) year of experience in building real-time dashboards with Tableau for effective metric visualization.

Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $164,000.

Eligible candidates may also receive a discretionary bonus based on performance.
