Job Summary:

As an Assistant HR Director at the City of Santa Fe, you will play a crucial role in administering Human Resources functions. This includes HR operations, talent acquisition, pay and classification, employee benefits, employee development and training, employee wellness, employee relations, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.

• Manage HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

• Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement talent acquisition plans.

• Analyze and develop recommendations for pay and classification, employee benefits, and employee development and training programs.

• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee wellness and engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
