Job Title: Controller

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team at Silicon Beach Recruiter. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows for multiple entities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor financial reports, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Execute internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and operational financial reports.
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
  • Oversee and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
  • Assist in compliance audits, including collaboration with external accountants.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven accounting experience, including with multiple entities.
  • 5+ years' experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or construction management.
  • CPA highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
  • Experience working with ERP software, such as inputting invoices, generating reports, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis.
  • Exemplary history of financial project management and decision making.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
