Job SummaryWe are looking for an MDS Care Coordinator at our facility to conduct assessments for new residents and submit MDS report forms for billing in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as directed by the administrator, ensuring the highest quality of resident care is upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, assess, and oversee educational and on-the-job training initiatives.
Integrate commercially available instructional materials and training resources into current in-service programs as needed.
Develop, assess, and maintain the quality of in-service educational programs in line with established policies and procedures.
Gather, create, and preserve records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., related to in-service educational programs.
Fulfill administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, attendance records, and subject records.
Provide written and verbal reports/recommendations to the administrator regarding in-service training programs.
Collaborate with the business office to ensure all employees receive appropriate benefits packages. Education, Licensure, &
Experience Requirements:
Must hold a Clear & Active LVN/LPN or RN license in Washington.
DSD Certification is preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a post-acute/skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or hospital setting is required.
Experience in supervision and educational principles and practices is essential.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiarity with nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to nursing care facilities.
