Job Summary

Duke University is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst II to join the Center for Advanced Hindsight. As a mid-level researcher, you will play a key role in conducting research studies, providing support to research projects, and managing relationships with partners and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently lead research studies, including conducting literature reviews, generating new hypotheses, and informing existing streams of research.
  • Contribute to hypothesis generation for field and lab studies and contribute to study designs.
  • Ensure all studies are fielded with fidelity.
  • Conduct data analysis, draw conclusions from study results, and determine next steps, with supervision from Research Scholars or Project Managers.
  • Draft manuscripts for academic publication and popular press.
  • Write IRB applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the specific position, with a Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • 3-6 years of research experience since earning a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral science principles.
  • Ability to speak and write coherently, with fluency in English and Spanish languages.
