Multilingual HR Generalist

At Partners Personnel, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Multilingual HR Generalist to support our day-to-day HR operations and activities in Santa Maria, CA. This position requires an individual who can efficiently track employee performance and attendance, manage time-off and leave requests, and facilitate new hire orientations. As an integral part of our HR team, you will work closely with employees at all levels, ensuring a high standard of trust, confidentiality, and collaboration. Additionally, some payroll duties will be part of the responsibilities. You will report directly to the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide various HR services in support of day-to-day operations and activities.
- Track and maintain accurate records of employee performance, attendance, time-off, and leave of absence requests.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and ensure all necessary onboarding documentation is completed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating good judgment at all times.
- Support payroll processes as needed, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist the HR Manager with various HR functions as required.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR databases.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR-related issues and provide accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma required; College degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in HR with a focus on general support and some payroll.
- Language: Bilingual Spanish and English required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (PowerPoint is a plus).
- Typing Skills: Must be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
- Other Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
**Estimated Salary:** $20-$27/hour
