We are in search of a **Lead Manager** to become a vital part of our **Central RME team**, a pivotal leadership position that influences global operations with a primary emphasis on **AMZL North America**. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in **project management** and a proven track record of influencing key stakeholders beyond their immediate team. This role necessitates collaboration with nearly all operational divisions, including **Operations**, **Field RME**, **Global Reliability**, and **Global Engineering**. As a senior leader, you will need to balance immediate solutions with long-term objectives, bringing structure to a complex and ambitious business strategy through effective prioritization and the intentional development of your team.

Your overarching vision to improve **customer satisfaction** while minimizing costs will be essential to the strategy of the Central team. Key Responsibilities

- Regularly engage with senior leadership and provide updates on the progress of significant project milestones.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for team growth and development.

- Define and execute organizational strategies to adapt to evolving customer requirements.

- Identify and implement long-term corrective measures to address delivery gaps.

- Cultivate and expand essential partnerships critical for project success.

- Create and manage organizational roadmaps for process development and implementation.

A Day in the Life

As a Lead Manager, your daily activities will focus on five primary areas: **project deployment**, **process development and implementation**, **team development**, **stakeholder and customer relationships**, and **strategic planning**. You will ensure that project deployment milestones are achieved, facilitate connections between teams, and promptly address any escalations. Your role will also involve leveraging process development and implementation to standardize operations and enhance team efficiency. Team development will be a significant focus, aiming to elevate the organizational standards and transition the team from a reactive to a proactive and strategic mindset. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, building strong relationships that are essential for swift and effective project execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting a forward-looking strategy with a clear roadmap to enhance quality, ensuring that long-term objectives align with business goals.

About the Team

The **ELM team** is responsible for overseeing the transfer of assets (MHE, Base Build, Emerging Tech) to the RME teams, working closely with **Project Delivery Teams** across **Customer Fulfillment**, **Amazon Transportation Systems**, **Amazon Logistics**, and **Amazon Grocery Logistics**. Supporting regions include North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and Australia, while also engaging for standardization with India/Japan. The mission of ELM is to deliver a seamless and efficient building experience from the RME perspective, starting from project initiation. This involves key objectives such as minimizing downtime, increasing equipment availability, and ensuring RME technician readiness. The team also aims to achieve perfect maintenance accessibility, make initial spare parts available at the right cost, and coordinate external maintenance services, focusing on aligning people, processes, and resources to create an optimal building experience from the RME standpoint.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree.

- Experience in leading and developing a team, including conducting annual reviews.

- Proven senior management and leadership experience.

- Experience in driving significant change management initiatives where business culture was challenged.

- Demonstrated experience in presenting to multi-level stakeholders and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in developing long-term strategies.

- Advanced degree in business or communications.
