About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our Robotics team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceiving, designing, and developing components to solve robotics problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceive, design, and develop components to solve robotics problems at scale
  • Partner across teams to create software that drives hardware
  • Prototype new concepts or features through simulators, emulators, and with live robotic equipment in the lab
  • Work directly with internal customers and see the impact of your products in the field

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience working on software libraries and tools for building robot applications and/or ROS2

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
