Nursing Unit Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees nursing care delivered by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and other staff.
- Reviews and implements all nursing protocols and systems.
- Assesses and evaluates the systems that support the delivery of high-quality resident care and staff performance.
- Employs a systematic approach in the nursing process to deliver personalized nursing care.
- Contributes to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the formulation and execution of care plans.
- Evaluates residents' responses to nursing interventions.
- Understands the rationale for medication and treatment usage and administers as required.
Qualifications:
- Current state RN licensure is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty are preferred.
- Management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is advantageous.
