The Restoration Project Manager oversees, organizes, and directs work activities on restoration assignments to effectively meet service requirements and ensure a satisfactory customer experience.
As the primary representative of the SERVPRO brand, the Restoration Project Manager embodies the company's commitment to being 'Here to Help' for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a positive customer experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with services provided.
Clearly communicate expectations to Restoration Technicians and supervise their daily tasks.
Organize and execute production processes as planned while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Identify potential safety risks, communicate them, and implement control measures to guarantee the safety of all occupants and workers. Consistently follow and enforce safe work practices and compliance with safety and risk management protocols.
Maintain a comprehensive and accurate job file to document the services rendered.
Manage labor and material usage on assigned projects efficiently. Safeguard and utilize equipment and supplies responsibly.
Additional Responsibilities:
Mentor and train Restoration Technicians.
Maintain communication with the production manager and office personnel regarding project status and challenges.
Conduct routine vehicle and equipment maintenance as assigned. Oversee maintenance of facilities and grounds as needed.
Continuously enhance knowledge of production techniques, cleaning solutions, and equipment.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the employer.
Required Experience and Skills:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction fields.
Strong leadership abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or GED required.
IICRC certifications are preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds independently, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, drive, sit, climb ladders, work at heights, navigate tight spaces (such as crawl spaces and attics), and perform repetitive tasks involving pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects. Work with and around chemicals, and perform overhead tasks.
While executing job duties, employees may frequently encounter fumes or airborne particles. Occasional exposure to extreme conditions such as heat and unpleasant odors may occur. The noise level in the work environment and job sites may be high. Employees may be required to wear respirators for safety.
Work Schedule and Travel:
This is a full-time role with standard hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The position may require extended hours beyond the standard workday, including evenings and weekends. Local travel is necessary, with potential for occasional out-of-area and overnight travel.
