Job Description

As a Commercial & Storm Restoration Technician with SERVPRO of Indiana County/Ebensburg, you will play a critical role in responding to storm events and providing restoration services to affected areas. This is a traveling position that requires the ability to work at a moment's notice, with a focus on providing quality, consistent, and efficient work to facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to affected areas in response to storm events, working to restore properties and provide relief to those in need.
  • Inventory and load equipment, products, and supplies needed for each travel event and job.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, setting up staging areas and equipment as needed.
  • Perform production processes as directed, adhering to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
  • Communicate with Restoration Supervisors and other Restoration Technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving jobsites with a clean and orderly appearance.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized temporary warehouse and storm trailer space, cleaning and maintaining affected areas as assigned.
  • Develop production expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Other tasks/duties as required by employer.
Requirements:
  • Ability to travel and work at a moment's notice.
  • Strong work ethic and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidates.
  • DOT health card and CDL a plus.
