Position Overview:
As the IT Director, you will provide strategic oversight and direction for all Information Technology initiatives within the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. Your responsibilities will encompass the procurement, implementation, operational management, and vendor oversight of all PACE systems, including electronic health records, IT infrastructure, and compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement the IT vision and roadmap for the PACE program, ensuring it aligns with the broader objectives of PacificSource.
- Oversee the design, acquisition, and maintenance of IT infrastructure in collaboration with the PacificSource IT team, covering systems and applications essential for the PACE program.
- Coordinate with various IT departments to ensure seamless integration and management of PACE systems.
- Guarantee compliance with regulations, policies, and standards relevant to the PACE program, including federal and state laws.
- Establish and track performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure high availability and security of IT systems.
- Manage the IT budget and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality in service delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure IT services meet the needs of the PACE program.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices to enhance IT capabilities.
- Oversee departmental programs and manage team performance, including hiring and development.
- Monitor departmental budgets and ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Facilitate process improvements and collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years in IT leadership roles within healthcare or PACE environments, with at least 5 years focused on IT strategy and budgeting.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Relevant IT certifications are advantageous.
Knowledge: Extensive expertise in IT infrastructure and applications relevant to healthcare operations, including compliance with HIPAA and CMS standards. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Work Environment: This position is primarily office-based, with some travel required.
