Key Responsibilities:

The Associate Director for Educational Programs will oversee the development and implementation of educational programs for the Law School, working closely with faculty and staff to design and deliver high-quality instruction. This includes:

  • Designing and teaching for-credit legal research courses and research instruction offerings;
  • Collaborating with librarians to develop and deliver research instruction programs;
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing instruction and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote instructional programs to faculty and students;
  • Working with other law school departments to identify instructional needs and develop programs to meet those needs;
  • Serving as a member of the senior management team and participating in library committees and other activities that advance the library's mission.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a highly advanced professional discipline, with a JD and MLS degrees required and 5-7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
