About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Talent Acquisition Leader to join our team at Project Engineering Consultants (PEC). As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for leading our talent acquisition strategy and initiatives, ensuring that we attract and hire the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment process for senior-level positions, including lifecycle recruitment and talent pipeline development.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define operational needs, project needs, and opportunity hires, and provide guidance on the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Experience Team to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience and refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and recommend recruiting strategies with the hiring team to ensure successful candidate searches within identified time frames.
  • Vet and understand the details of potential candidates, providing streamlined information to hiring managers to best position them for a successful hiring process.
  • Recognize quality candidates for the greater organization that may not fit the team's needs, and work collaboratively to funnel them to the right people and region.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a solid background in the A/E/C industry and in the desired geography.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience successfully working with geographically dispersed virtual teams, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively and to keep candidates and projects moving in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with the ability to prioritize and remain calm under pressure, and to maintain perspective, balance, and focus through challenges, uncertainty, and change.
  • High degree of professionalism, providing a strong presentation style that is reflective of the company brand.
  • Ability to act strategically, make sound decisions, and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
