Key Responsibilities:

  • Post, update, and refresh job openings internally and externally on a regular basis
  • Maintain and ensure legal compliance within recruiting, screening, and hiring processes using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Enter prospective new hire documents and data into ATS, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Review and disposition of incoming applicants from our website and external sources, including initial resume review
  • Prepare draft offer letters and obtain approvals
  • Track employee referrals and talent acquisition metrics
  • Learn technical requirements and screening techniques for each department and hiring manager
  • Assist in upgrading candidate resumes prior to client submittal for approval
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate and hiring manager on-site interviews
  • Be a positive and proactive champion of the Boswell Engineering brand throughout the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process
  • Support preboarding, onboarding, and induction of new hires while ensuring a positive candidate experience from outreach through hiring and orientation
  • Effectively maintain confidentiality and foster genuine quality long-term relationships with current and future candidates, HR, and all of Boswell
  • Source quality candidates through various channels while learning advanced skills
  • Value and minimize the use of hiring managers' time
  • Support HR and COO in talent acquisition requests and needs

Requirements:

  • AS or BS degree in Communications, HR, Psychology, or related field(s)
  • Proven work experience and success in a talent acquisition or human resources role within a professional services organization
  • Hands-on experience with in-house full life-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Track record of effectively balancing numerous changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
  • Passion for growing people and organizations, as well as developing strong and genuine relationships
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and requirements for legal compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a genuine and proven commitment to customer/client service, teamwork, and confidentiality
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various technical roles and levels within organizations
