Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the activities of members and guests in the aquatic department to ensure their safety.
  • Enforce rules and procedures to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the pool and pool deck to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of chemical readings and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in aquatic safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical functions.
  • Ability to remain alert and focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and evenings.
