Infection Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infection Prevention/Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team at The Iowa Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day function of our Risk, Safety and Infection Control Program.

• Manage and analyze risk, patient safety, and policy development
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with ASC accreditation requirements
• Develop and implement clinical quality improvement programs
• Collaborate with the Ambulatory Surgery Center Medical Director to review medical staff performance
• Facilitate oversight of risk management activities, infection control, and clinical education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa
• Minimum of 4 years nursing experience in an acute care hospital/ASC setting
• Previous Quality Improvement or Infection Control experience preferred
