Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Cleaning Technician to join our maintenance team. As a Cleaning Technician, you'll work with a team to take care of different types of floors for our clients, including wood, vinyl, linoleum, tile, and carpet. Your responsibilities will include ensuring floors are clean and shiny using various methods, such as dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and bonneting. You'll also work on both large and small projects in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties related to floor maintenance and the scope of work required.
  • Perform specific jobs and tasks as directed by Crew Leader, Night Supervisor, or Operations Manager.
  • Ensure jobs are completed to the customer and company's expectations.
  • Properly maintain assigned equipment.
  • Work directly with the Crew Leader, Night Supervisor, and Operations Manager in quality assurance and notify them of any work-related problems.
  • Attend and participate in all required Maintenance Team meetings.
  • Clean equipment daily and keep it neat and orderly at all times.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Assume other responsibilities from time to time as directed by management.
  • Participate in the firm's growth as a cooperative and loyal member of the team.
Requirements
  • Be able to pass criminal background requirements.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and possess and maintain a good driving record.
  • No felony/misdemeanor convictions; must be able to pass any client security requirements.
  • Must be of legal age to work.
  • This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to a valid medical or religious exemption.
  • High energy, results-oriented, takes initiative.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to work flexible hours unsupervised.
  • Honest, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Polite, friendly, pleasant, and outgoing with a neat, clean appearance.
  • Able to demonstrate superior knowledge, skills, and processes of our flooring maintenance system to your team and customers.
  • Bi-lingual preferred; must speak fluent English.
Work Environment
  • First Shift and Second Shift available.
  • Small-to-large office environment.
  • Safety glasses required while performing certain tasks.
  • Fast-paced office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.
  • Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
